Smithers
Smithers has polished up nicely!
A rescue from Mayo. His old owners got rid of him saying he’d killed another cat. The vet he was taken to by the rescue said it was most likely both cats had been attacked by a mink. Smithers survived.
He’s one of the gentlest cats I’ve ever met and takes kittens under his wing.
When he arrived here (as you’ll see in the photos) he wasn’t at his best. All it takes is some TLC and he is the fluffiest, whitest cat you’ve ever seen. Even our vet didn’t think he’d ever be any kind of white again.
